With a spike in Coronavirus cases, many of your Democrat colleagues believe the time is right to force through their vote-by-mail package. Make no mistake: this has nothing to do with protecting the American people. Pelosi and her allies are simply trying to steal the 2020 election.

The bill is literally designed to help Democrats win the election. First of all, it would require that states increase the number of days they set aside for early voting. Even states that already have weeks of early voting would be forced to add more days to the calendar. This has nothing to do with the coronavirus. This is only about trying to increase Democrat turnout.

The bill would also require all 50 states to implement mail-in voting. Data already shows that mail-in ballots are the most vulnerable to fraud. In New Jersey, a mail truck caught on fire and as many as one hundred ballots were instantly destroyed. That isn't even including how ballots have been sent out to dead, inactive, and ineligible voters, guaranteeing that illegal votes will be cast. If you vote to force states to adopt vote-by-mail, it will be abused and elections will be stolen.

It would be one thing if mail-in voting was combined with efforts to secure the ballots, such as requiring voter ID in order to apply for a mail-in ballot. However, Nancy Pelosi's proposal would actually make it ILLEGAL for states to verify voters' identities when they apply for mail-in ballots. That's right, states that currently require voters to show ID before receiving a mail-in ballot would be prohibited from doing those identity checks. The legislation would also prohibit states from requiring voters to include notarized or witness signatures on the ballot. So not only is it illegal for the state to check their identity, but it would be illegal to require that a 3rd Party verify the voter's identity.

This language in the bill is literally designed to increase voter fraud.

But most dangerous part of the proposal would require states to allow "ballot harvesting." This is the practice of sending paid political activists door-to-door to not only tell people how to vote, but also to collect the ballots to turn in on their behalf. Typically, states only allow absentee ballots to be turned in by family members or caretakers. That is because once a ballot changes hands, the likelihood of fraud or tampering increases. Pelosi's proposal specifically requires that states allow ANYONE to take possession of a voter's ballot.

This is insane. You should be passing laws to secure the vote, not open the doors for more and more fraud.

I need you to pay attention: if you pass this plan into law, voter fraud will increase and the 2020 election will be stolen.
