Angry Democrats Filing Bills to Remove More Statues, Paintings, and Monuments

This is getting out of control. Over the weekend, angry "protesters" tore down a statue celebrating Frederick Douglas, a freed slave, abolitionist, and supporter of the "Underground Railroad" that helped escaped slaves reach freedom in the North.

The Leftists apparently believe he was too racist to have a statue in today's America...

As stupid as it sounds, Congressional Democrats are trying to do just that: they are trying to erase and rewrite our history by removing and destroying dozens of paintings, statues, and monuments.

By our count, Democrats are filing at least 12 bills to fast-track their anti-statue campaign and they want to force a vote on them THIS WEEK.

The only reason the Left is doing this is because they think they can get away with this. They think the GOP will cave to their demands because they are cowards.

That is why you must fight back right now and stop the Republicans from caving!

Over the weekend, angry "protesters" destroyed a statue of Frederick Douglas in Rochester, New York.

Frederick Douglas was a freed slave and staunch abolitionist. And yet, the mob found reason that he should be erased from history as well...'

Let's be clear: This has nothing to do with George Floyd's death. These protests and riots stopped being about Minneapolis a long time ago. They have transformed into an assault on our history. No statue is safe.

Last month, Nancy Pelosi ordered the painting honoring Speaker Charles Crisp to be taken down. His crime? His parents were actors in a Shakespeare troupe that traveled the country in 1861. They happened to be in Virginia when the Civil War broke out. Crisp was "conscripted" into the Virginia Army when he was just 16 years old. Had his parents been performing north of the Mason Dixon line when the war started, he never would have fought for the Confederacy.

And yet, that crime was enough for Nancy Pelosi to remove his painting from the Speaker's Lobby. Walking through the halls of the Capitol, there will now be no evidence that this man ever served as Speaker.

Now, your colleagues are doubling down. Beyond renaming our military bases, there are now at least twelve bills being introduced to remove more statues, paintings, and monuments.

I don't care what it takes, you need to put a stop to this. The Leftist mobs are already tearing down statues honoring Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Theodore Roosevelt. In just three short years, this fight over confederate statues has now devolved to the point where the Presidents honored on Mount Rushmore are now being targeted as well.

This has to end.

You cannot allow these radicals to virtue signal by removing any more paintings, statues, or monuments. You cannot allow them to strip the names off of military bases.

If you vote for any of these radical proposals, or help them pass in any way, you will be removed from office.
