Robert Mueller Lied. GOP Cowards Want Him To Get Away With It.

Robert Mueller is furious that Trump commuted Roger Stone's sentence. He is so mad that he broke his silence and published an op-ed in the Washington Post condemning the move. There is a reason that it is not a good idea to make important decisions when you're angry: you tend to make mistakes... And that is precisely what Robert Mueller did.

He swore in his op-ed that everyone on his team "acted with the highest integrity." That is provably false. Peter Strzok had to be fired for extreme anti-Trump bias, Brandon Van Grack was taken off the Flynn case when he was caught deliberately withholding exculpatory evidence from the defense, and a still unnamed FBI lawyer on Mueller's team is being criminally investigated for altering and fabricating an email to trick the FISA Court into renewing the surveillance warrant against Trump's team. But all of this pales in comparison to the fact that Robert Mueller knew Trump was innocent on Day One, but kept the witch hunt going anyway...

Mueller has publicly declared that his team acted with integrity. This gives Lindsey Graham and other Republicans the opening to force him and his team to testify under oath.

Graham is promising to do just that. But already, the GOP is pressuring him to just 'let it go.' The spineless Republicans want to let the Deep State get away with their failed coup.

President Trump has commuted Roger Stone's sentence, and that was the right thing to do. Roger Stone never should have been investigated or prosecuted because the Trump-Russia investigation was illegitimate from the start.

Robert Mueller knew on Day One that Donald Trump was innocent. He should have closed the investigation then and there. Instead, he allowed it to go on for two years without a legitimate pretext...

Over that time, a number of Trump associates were targeted. Not for the crime of "collusion," but in the hopes of getting them to slip up so they could be prosecuted for process crimes. That is why FBI agents were sent to interrogate Michael Flynn and it is why Congressional Democrats sent Roger Stone's testimony to the Mueller team.

There was never any evidence of collusion, but the Mueller team hoped that if they came down hard on people in Trump's orbit, they would confess to another crime that could be used to remove Trump from office. When they refused to lie to save their own hide, the Mueller prosecutors threw the book at them.

The good news is that it was impossible for Mueller and his investigators to run a pretext-less witch hunt without making mistakes of their own. Peter Strzok and Lisa Page were fired for conspiring to remove Trump from office, not because he committed an actual crime, but because they were outraged that he beat Hillary Clinton. As soon as their text messages became public, Mueller was forced to fire them on the spot.

Then there was Brandon Van Grack. One of Mueller's pitbulls, Van Grack was put in charge of the Michael Flynn prosecution. We now know that Van Grack withheld exculpatory evidence from Flynn's defense team. Even when he was ordered by a Federal Judge to turn everything over, he didn't do it. Not only was he removed from the case, but every case he ever touched is now being reviewed.

And then there is the FBI lawyer, presumed to be Kevin Clinesmith, who literally fabricated evidence to allow the investigation to continue. As you know, FISA Warrants have expiration dates. In order to be renewed, investigators have to prove that their probes are bearing fruit. After signing off on multiple warrants, the FISA Judge insisted that the investigators determine, once and for all, whether Trump advisor Carter Page was a government asset. According to the Inspector General, Clinesmith received an email from a CIA official confirming that Carter Page "did, in fact, have a relationship" with the CIA. Clinesmith then allegedly fabricated the email to instead say that Carter Page "was not a source." The Inspector General literally found evidence that one of Mueller's investigators broke the law and fabricated evidence to secure a surveillance warrant.

The list literally goes on and on. Mueller's team was so determined to remove the President from office and punish his allies that they were willing to break the law to do it.

In his op-ed over the weekend, Robert Mueller wrote an op-ed condemning Trump's commutation of Stone's sentence and proclaiming that "the women and men who conducted these investigations and prosecutions acted with the highest integrity." That is simply false and you know it.

Senator Lindsey Graham is now planning to subpoena Robert Mueller and force him to answer for these obvious discrepancies and explain why he allowed the investigation to continue without a legitimate pretext.

But many of your colleagues are desperate to stop this subpoena from being issued. Some are determined to help cover up Mueller's crimes. Others believe that it is in the best interest of the country (and their own reelection prospects) to just 'let it go.' They are pulling out all the stops to prevent Graham and others from forcing Mueller and his team to testify under oath.

You must stop them.

I don't care what it takes... I don't care what political capital it costs... I don't care what your advisors are whispering in your ear...

The American people deserve the truth. The victims of the Mueller investigation -- the men and women who had their lives ruined by a pretext-less investigation -- deserve justice. And the members of Mueller's team who obviously broke the law deserve to be punished.
