Nancy Pelosi Orders GOP to Pass Far Left Cheat-By-Mail Legislation

The GOP rolled out their coronavirus relief proposal. It includes an extra round of stimulus checks, extended (but reduced) unemployment assistance, and extra funding to school districts to help them re-open safely.

The Democrats immediately shot it down. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are refusing to allow any coronavirus bill to pass unless the Republicans agree to pass their "cheat-by-mail" election provisions into law.

The Left is demanding nationwide mail-in voting, extended early voting, an end to state-level voter ID laws, and the legalization of "ballot harvesting." If they get their way, they will steal the 2020 election. This package is literally designed to help Leftists steal the election.

And the GOP is so terrified of being blamed for ending the stimulus and unemployment checks that they are offering to meet Pelosi "halfway." There is no such thing as meeting Democrats "halfway" when their goal is to steal the election!

Yesterday, the White House and Congressional Republicans unveiled their Coronavirus relief package. The bill includes another round of $1,200 stimulus checks, extended (but reduced) federal unemployment benefits, and extra funding to allow schools to re-open safely. The proposal was common sense.

Your Democrat colleagues immediately declared that it was dead on arrival. Nancy Pelosi was asked during a press conference why it was dead on arrival, and she said that no relief bill will become law unless it includes her vote-by-mail provisions.

She was asked whether she would agree to address the election as a standalone bill to help the relief pass quicker, and she shouted "NO" at the reporter 11 times.

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are willing to make Americans suffer in order to advance their plan to steal the election. Make no mistake: if their proposals become law, that is precisely what will happen.

Pelosi's bill would require that states send ballots to registered voters by mail, without even confirming that the voters still live at the address. In California, as an example, we have seen studies released alleging that millions of names on the voter rolls are no longer eligible to vote, either because the voter is deceased, moved away, or has lost the right to vote. Sending a ballot to every registered voter, no questions asked, would guarantee fraud.

Pelosi's plan would also force states to hold more early voting days. Even states that have two weeks-worth of early voting opportunities would be forced to keep their polling places open even longer. This federal overreach is unnecessary and the fact that the bill would emphasize early voting in predominantly inner city neighborhoods, and not the suburbs, shows that this is designed to help one political party over the other.

The plan would revoke state voter ID laws to make it illegal for a state to require an ID before sending or accepting receipt of an absentee ballot. It would also become illegal for states to require that absentee ballots be notarized. Ask yourself why Nancy Pelosi would possibly want to make it illegal to verify the identities of absentee voters...

And lastly, the legislation would require that states legalize the practice of "ballot harvesting."This is the practice where paid political operatives go door-to-door, tell people how to fill out their ballots, and then turn the ballots in on the voters' behalf. In California, ballot harvesters have been caught dumping hundreds, and even thousands of ballots at polling places just minutes before the polls close. There is a reason that most states only allow a family member or caretaker to deliver absentee ballots on a voter's behalf. That is because once a ballot changes hands, fraud becomes easy. Ballot handlers can destroy ballots if they don't like the way the person voted, or potentially even change votes. Ballot harvesting guarantees voter fraud. Period.

These provisions are designed to make it easier to steal the 2020 election. If you pass any of these demands into law, you will guarantee voter fraud. Considering that states were decided in 2016 by thin margins of just a few thousand votes, we cannot afford to open the door for any more fraud.

There is no compromising here. When one side demands we open the door to voter fraud to make it easier to steal the election, there is no such thing as "meeting them halfway" on that.
