In the past week, the number of GOP Senators who have agreed to meet with Merrick Garland has grown from 16 to 18. Senator Lindsey Graham has agreed to hear Garland out and Senator Chuck Grassley, the head of the Senate Judiciary Committee, even met with the activist judge over breakfast.

Democrats are celebrating the meeting as a success and making plans for Judicial hearings. The writing is on the wall.

Sixteen is the magic number. It is the number of Republicans necessary to push a nominee through with 100% Democratic support. With 16 GOP Senators joining the Democrats, then the remainder of the GOP becomes powerless to filibuster.

You can understand my surprise to learn that after promising Obama's nominee would be dead on arrival, 1/3 of the GOP Caucus has now agreed to hear him out. Many of them have also called for immediate hearings and votes.

Absolutely not!

Previously, we were safe because without a committee hearing, the nomination can't go anywhere. But now the Head of the Judiciary Committee is surrendering as well!

We have never been closer to defeat...

Let me be clear. If you meet with him, if you "hear him out," if you push for a hearing, or if you vote to confirm him, then you will be out of a job.

There's nothing cryptic about this.

We the People will remove you from office. That is not a threat, it is a promise.

This judge has previously ruled that the Federal government is allowed to keep a registry of American gun owners. He did everything in his power to eliminate the Constitutional right to own a handgun, and failed.

If you allow this man to be confirmed, you're forcing my hand. I will not hesitate to remove you from office if you ignore the will of the people.
