Tomorrow, Republicans have promised to vote for new gun control. They have promised to "compromise" with Democrats and allow the Federal government to suspend your constitutional rights without ever being forced to prove a thing.

Instead of "innocent until proven guilty," these Leftists and RINOs want to make you "guilty until proven innocent" when it comes to the 2nd Amendment.

They want something as little as an anonymous tip to law enforcement to be enough to disarm you.

We live in a society where people are innocent until proven guilty. This is important.

The Bill of Rights exists to safeguard our rights from a potentially tyrannical government.

The Constitution doesn't give us our rights. We have a right to defend ourselves by virtue of being alive. The Bill of Rights simply codifies these pre-existing rights.

In order for the government to violate my rights, such as the right to own a firearm, they need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that I am a danger to society. Unless they prove that beyond a reasonable doubt, they have absolutely no right to disarm anyone.

Before you tomorrow is a number of gun control bills. Each of these pieces of legislation take the principle of "innocent until proven guilty" and turn it on its head.

These Leftists and RINOs want to give the government the power treat terror suspects as "guilty until proven innocent." Not only that, but the Feinstein bill would take this one step further. Even if an American is proven to be innocent, the Feinstein bill would flag them in the background check system for another 5 years and force them to jump through hoops to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights.

Let me be clear: the government has no authority to create a gun owner registry (which is required for universal background checks), nor does the FBI have the authority to suspend someone's constitutional rights based on the lowest standard of proof: reasonable suspicion.

There is no "compromise" to be had. If the Obama administration doesn't want suspected terrorists to be able to own or purchase weapons, then they should charge them with a crime and disarm them through the justice system, not through some arbitrary nonsense.

If you vote for any of the four bills before you, I will stop at nothing to have you removed from office. That is not a threat, it is a promise.
