Just before Christmas, the Obama administration led a coordinated effort in the United Nations to pass a resolution against Israel. John Kerry worked with his French counterpart to draft the resolution and when it came time for the Security Council vote, US Ambassador Samantha Power withheld her veto.

This is truly unprecedented.

Now, there is word that an even tougher resolution is being drafted to impose "peace" and formally establish a Palestinian State.

If peace is ever to be achieved, it will be through negotiations, not through the UN imposing it.

This is just the icing on the cake. Over the past three months, Barack Obama has taken steps to force on the American people the UN Arms Trade Treaty, the UN Climate Treaty, and an amended Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty... all without Congressional consent as the Constitution requires.

The Founders foresaw something like this happening. They knew that eventually, a President would try to bypass Congress to impose his agenda on the American people. That is why they gave you and your colleagues the authority to ratify treaties and the ability to use the power of the purse to defund executive actions.

That is what I am calling on you to do right now. Defund the United Nations.

Obama has turned the international body into a weapon against his 'enemies' at home and abroad. It is time to disarm him.

There is a broad coalition behind the effort to defund the United Nations. Even Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham have found themselves on the same side of this issue. It is absolutely imperative that you get behind this effort and defund the United Nations immediately before the Obama administration uses it to do any more harm.

Obama is like an evicted tenant who decides to trash the rental on his way out the door. Except instead of trashing a condo, Obama is trashing American foreign policy.
