Paul Ryan is giving up on pushing a Conservative agenda through Congress.

He failed on Obamacare repeal, has reportedly failed on tax reform, and just yesterday we got word he removed border wall funding from this year's budget bill being voted on next week. None of this is surprising. Ryan promised in October that he would never support Trump or his agenda. Now he is making good on that closed-door promise.

We the People voted for specific policy proposals last November.

We voted for Obamacare repeal. We voted for tax reform. We voted for a wall along the southern border. The list goes on and on.

None of this is getting done. The House of Representatives failed to repeal Obamacare, even though they successfully voted 60+ times in the past to repeal the failing healthcare bill. Now, we are learning that the negotiation over tax reform is failing and has to go back to the beginning.

On top of that, news broke yesterday that Paul Ryan and company removed border wall funding from the April budget bill.

This is not what We the People voted for.

Other than Neil Gorsuch's confirmation, there really hasn't been any other success in Congress.

You and your colleagues swore up and down that if you were given the House, you'd be able to take this country back. Then, the excuse was that you needed the Senate in order to get anything done and the American people delivered the upper chamber in 2014. Then, the excuse was the Republican Party needed a Republican President in order to sign legislation into law. So, the American people elected Donald Trump.

What is the excuse now? What is the excuse now for failing to push forward the agenda that We the People voted for?

Paul Ryan needs to be replaced. This is not a call that I am making lightly or one that I particularly enjoy. But he has failed Conservatives, he has failed the Republican Party, and he has failed the American people.

The President's first 100 days are almost over and we have practically nothing to show for it.

The American people elected a leader as President. We need you to elect a leader as Speaker of the House.
