On Mother's Day, GOP RINOs Threatening to Fully Restore Planned Parenthood Funding

For years, the Republican Party has promised to defund Planned Parenthood. In 2015, they did just that and sent a budget bill to President Obama's desk that would have withheld Federal funds from Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers for at least one year. The former-President vetoed it.

Now that there is a President willing to sign this pro-life legislation, the GOP is running as fast as they can away from it. The measure passed the House by just two votes and now three Republican Senators are on-record promising to kill the pro-life amendment.

If they vote no, then the measure dies. Planned Parenthood would get to keep all of its funding.

In 2015, you and your colleagues voted for a budget resolution that withheld taxpayer money from Planned Parenthood for at least a year. Former-President Obama vetoed that bill.

Now, you have an opportunity to finish what you started. A measure to defund the country's largest abortion provider passed the House of Representatives by just two votes. However, there are at least three Republican Senators who have announced their opposition to this measure: Sens Collins, Murkowski, and Heller.

If three Republican Senators vote no, then the provision cannot pass the Senate and Planned Parenthood will continue to receive 75% of its funding from the taxpayer.

This is unacceptable. On this Mother's Day, it has never been more important to renew the fight for the rights of the unborn.

We the People are tired of all talk, no action politicians. We are tired of politicians running on a promise and then running away from it as fast as they can once in office.

The provision before you gives Planned Parenthood and the country's other abortionists a clear ultimatum. If they drop abortions from their list of services - which they all admit make up just a tiny percent of what they do - then they get to keep their Federal revenue. If they continue offering abortions, then they would lose up to 75% of their funding. Either way, the country's largest abortion provider disappears if you pass this bill.

I am writing to make sure you understand that I am a voter and this is a non-negotiable issue. Any Congressman or Senator who allows Federal dollars to funnel into this abortion provider will be removed from office. I will not rest until I see that through.
