Breaking: United Nations Blocking Trump From Exiting Obama's Climate Treaty

Yesterday, President Trump announced the United States' withdrawal from Barack Obama's unconstitutional "Paris Climate Treaty." Not only was it illegal and unconstitutional for Obama to sign and implement it, but the agreement would cost the United States millions of jobs.

Now, the United Nations is fighting back. Apparently, Obama agreed to terms that prohibit the United States from withdrawing for at least three to four years. The UN is threatening legal action to force the Trump administration to obey their demands.

The President fulfilled his promise. He got us as far as he could. Now Congress needs to finish it.

Yesterday, President Trump withdrew the United States from the United Nation's Paris Climate Treaty. Even though the Obama administration portrayed the agreement as "non-binding," the United Nations is now refusing to let Trump exit the accords.

Deep within the agreement is a provision that prohibits signatories from exiting the agreement until at least three-to-four years after it enters into force. Since the treaty went into effect last year, the UN won't let Trump leave it until at least the year 2020.

There's no such thing as a "non-binding" agreement that parties aren't allowed to leave...

The demands that the UN just gave Trump prove that Barack Obama exceeded his authority when he committed the United States to the Paris Climate Treaty without Congressional approval. He never even submitted the treaty to you and your colleagues for consideration. By refusing to allow Trump to withdraw, the UN just proved that America's involvement in the Paris Climate Treaty completely violates the Constitution.

Barack Obama never had the right to sign away America's sovereignty like this.

President Trump promised to withdraw from the treaty and he has done just that. But in order to make a clean break, you and your colleagues will need to take immediate action.

A Congressional resolution invalidating and voidince the original signed agreement would put an end to this. Congress has the authority to declare that President Obama exceeded his authority when he agreed to these terms. That would completely remove the US from the treaty and prevent the United Nations from forcing our compliance.

Congressional leadership was in attendance at yesterday's Rose Garden announcement. We all saw them clapping and cheering the President on.

But talk is cheap. Now is the time for action.

The United Nations and European Union are fighting to prevent the President from withdrawing from this unconstitutional agreement. You MUST take immediate action and void the entire agreement!
