The 2nd Amendment reads that the "right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Yet for a quarter of all Americans, these words ring hollow.

States like New York, California, New Jersey, Maryland, Hawaii, and Massachusetts openly block citizens from bearing arms in public for self-defense. They have enacted statutes forcing residents to prove a "justifiable need" or a "good reason" to have to exercise their Constitutional rights.

Can you imagine any other right being restricted like this? Can you imagine being forced to provide the government with a "good and substantial reason" before you're allowed to pray to God or protest against the government?

It's madness.

The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act - introduced by Representative Hudson - would put an end to this. This bill would essentially force states to treat out-of-state concealed carry permits the same way they treat driver's licenses. If someone is allowed to concealed carry in one state, they would be allowed to carry in all 50 states. Those who live in anti-gun states like California would be able to get non-resident permits from Utah or Florida and then use those permits to carry nationwide.

This legislation would be the gun control movement's undoing and it would restore the 2nd Amendment's right to carry for all Americans.

The ruling from the DC Circuit Court of Appeals means you need to strike now. If they appeal the Circuit Court's decision and the Supreme Court rules that states have a right to block citizens from getting carry permits, it will be too late. This is your one chance to intervene.

You have a chance to put this issue to bed once and for all and We the People demand that you take it!
