Earlier this month, the FBI was forced to re-open the search for Hillary Clinton emails and documents after being caught in a lie. Obama holdovers in the FBI claimed that there were no Bureau email records related to Loretta Lynch's secret private plane meeting with Bill Clinton.

The truth is that Loretta Lynch used a secret email alias to coordinate with officials in the FBI, DOJ, and even the White House on how to cover up her meeting. So, the FBI was forced to re-open the search for these records.

But, not so fast... An Obama holdover - FBI FOIA Records Chief David M. Hardy - is pumping the brakes.

This week, Hardy rejected a FOIA request for the FBI to publicize more Hillary Clinton emails and documents. His reasoning is absolutely astonishing:

"You have not sufficiently demonstrated the public's interest in disclosure outweighs personal privacy interests of the subject. It is incumbent upon the requester to provide documentation regarding the public's interest in the operations and activities of the government before the records can be processed."

Hillary Clinton's email scandal, and the subsequent cover-up, was the biggest political story of last year. The FBI had not one, but TWO investigations into Clinton email crimes. You and your colleagues held public hearings. Now, one Obama holdover is refusing to release documents by claiming nobody cares about the issue. He couldn't be more wrong...
