It sounds like you and your colleagues weren't paying attention last year when Donald Trump won the Presidency.

He ran on very simple campaign promises: build the wall, enforce our immigration laws as written, crack down on illegal alien criminals who victimize Americans, and defund the sanctuary cities that harbor them.

Somewhere over the past eight months, that got lost in translation because the only immigration issue currently making its way through Congress is the attempt to make Barack Obama's amnesty permanent.

Nancy Pelosi let it slip. She admitted in a press conference that she was trying to put DACA recipients on a pathway to citizenship. Days later, she was shouted down by illegal alien protesters at an event who were demanding citizenship for all illegal aliens.

This is why she is pushing for chain migration to be a passed into law alongside amnesty. This would essentially grant amnesty to every DACA recipient's family members.

Obama tried to do this in 2014 when he signed his DAPA executive order to give amnesty to parents of amnestied illegal alien teenagers. The GOP and Attorneys General took Obama to court and got the executive order struck down.

Now, the very plaintiffs in that case are pushing to codify that amnesty into law.

If you need a wake-up call, this is it. Don't you dare pass this heinous amnesty package. Don't you dare pass Nancy Pelosi's amnesty and chain migration plan. Don't you dare turn your back on the American voters who voted last year for border security and the enforcement of immigration law.
