The United Nations is set to hold yet another vote to smack down the Trump administration over its decision to recognize Israel's capital as Jerusalem.

This marks the end of a year where the United Nations went all-in against President Trump and the United States. At every turn, the UN has stood against the Trump administration and tried to put a stop to the conservative agenda. And they did it all with your tax dollars!

Obama raided the treasury before he left and gave the UN hundreds of millions of dollars to join the "resistance" against Trump. Now, Democrats and liberal Republicans want to keep these payments going next year.

Absolutely not! Congress must vote on next year's spending bill before the end of the week. This is our chance to pull the plug on the UN!

It has been amazing to watch the United Nations turn on the United States after President Trump took office. Barack Obama gave them everything they wanted and Pres. Trump has spent the year trying to claw all of Obama's giveaways back.

When President Trump announced he was withdrawing from the UN Climate Treaty, the bureaucrats at the United Nations declared that Trump was bound to the promises made by Obama. The same goes for the UN's Arms Trade Treaty, with the UN demanding that Trump's State Department fulfill the gun control promises that Obama gave them.

When the White House began cracking down on illegal immigration and announced bans on refugee admissions from terror hotspots, the UN began exploiting loopholes to force Trump to take in illegals and refugees anyway.

Just last week, a local politician in Chicago actually begged UN monitors to bring in peacekeeping forces to impose gun control to bring the carnage to an end. Yes, really.

The UN Human Rights Council -- which Trump is trying to defund -- has castigated the White House for pushing for tax cuts. They know that would result in less being given to them, so the UN is calling the tax cut bill a violation of Americans' human rights (yes, really).

And now, the UN is about to vote on a resolution condemning the United States' declaration that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.

How many times are you going to let the UN use my tax dollars to assault American sovereignty? Seriously, why is US funding going to these anti-American United Nations programs?

At the end of the week, you must pass a 2018 spending bill. I am writing to demand that you include measures to defund the United Nations. Senator Ted Cruz already has legislation introduced to do just that.

You must end the cycle of the United Nations using American "donations" to attack American sovereignty.

This is absolutely a priority and I will be voting on this the next time your name appears on the ballot. Put America First and pull the plug on the UN, once and for all!
