The only thing holding back a caravan of thousands of illegal migrants is a small chain-linked fence at the Mexican border checkpoint. Yesterday, these migrants broke down the border fence in Guatemala and rushed the border. If the Mexican border checkpoint falls too, the caravan will be at the US border in less than a day.

Less than 5% of the funds would go towards upgrading and maintaining Border Patrol vehicles and equipment.

This legislation does exactly what Trump is demanding. It secures the border and punishes foreign countries that turn a blind eye to, or even harbor, these illegal migrant caravans. At least three-quarters of a billion dollars would be cut from our foreign aid programs and go towards border wall construction... every single year.

It is absolutely shameful that this bill, and other border security bills like it, are just collecting dust.

You cannot wait until after the midterm elections to deal with this. The migrant caravan could show up at the border in less than a day. You need to take action now!
