As Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer were on their way to the White House yesterday, Paul Ryan told reporters that he was happy to see the President was going to negotiate with the left over the border wall.

But what we saw wasn't a negotiation. It was a bloodbath. President Trump condemned the Democrats and proudly declared he would shutdown the government if Congress refused to protect the American people.

Paul Ryan is furious. He is refusing to schedule the vote on the full border wall funding and is even threatening to use Democrats to get a border surrender bill passed.

Yesterday, President Trump showed the world just how dedicated he is to finishing the border wall project and protecting the American people. The language outlaws construction of any of the border wall prototypes that were tested this year and would only allow the President to upgrade, repair, and expand existing border fencing. You know, the fence designs that are so porous that even toddlers are breaching them...

President Trump is not backing down. He isn't threatening anymore. He is promising to veto any spending bill that tries to defund or block the border wall funding. The President is even promising to declare a state of emergency and have the military complete the project if you and your colleagues refuse to authorize it.

It is time for you to do your duty and vote to secure the border and protect the American people. That is your top priority.

Anything less than is a betrayal. If you will not approve the wall, then you are not fit to hold any public office and I will not rest until you are removed from office.
