As if that wasn't bad enough, the Left's bill would also block pro-life pregnancy centers from receiving funding.

The American people agree that Federal funding should not go towards abortions. Even pro-choice Americans agree that the Federal government should not foot the bill for abortion procedures. Federal law currently prohibits it.

However, abortion providers like Planned Parenthood have figured out ways to get around the ban. By providing non-abortion services, they can use Federal funding to prop up their abortion side of the 'business.'

President Trump issued an order last year reinstating Ronald Reagan's "Protect Life" policy. The order restricts Title X funding from going to any organization that performs or refers for abortions. Trump's plan goes a bit further and actually redirects the funding towards pro-life pregnancy centers that do not provide abortions.

The reasoning is simple. The American people should not be responsible for keeping Planned Parenthood afloat. If they want access to family planning funding, they must end their abortion business. Otherwise, they must figure out a way to keep their lights on without American tax dollars.

Yesterday, however, Congressional Democrats unveiled their draft budget and revealed their plan to not only restore Planned Parenthood's funding, but to increase it by $114 million dollars. As a result, pro-life pregnancy centers would be prohibited from participating in the program.

Radical Democrats are confident that they can sneak this provision into the next round of spending bills and that Republicans will roll over to avoid risking a government shutdown.

The only reason that Leftists are trying this is because they believe Republicans and moderate Democrats are cowards and pushovers.

You need to listen here and listen good. You cannot, under any circumstances, allow this provision to become law. You CANNOT allow radical Democrats to restore and increase Planned Parenthood's funding.

You must stand up for the rights of the unborn. That doesn't mean putting up a fight and then giving up at the last minute. You must block this provision from moving forward. I don't care what it takes.
