President Trump won the 2016 election on a number of promises. But all of them revolved around a single message: it was time to put America, and Americans, first. Every foreign policy decision that the Trump administration has made followed this simple creed.

The President announced massive cuts to the United Nations' budget and threatened more if the organization didn't reform and end corruption. Trump withdrew from the United Nations' Paris Climate Treaty and Small Arms Treaty, two UN programs that Obama signed and funded without Congressional approval.
