Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen some of your colleagues stoop to new lows trying to defame the men and women of Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

We have seen sitting Congressmen and Senators call our immigration detention facilities "concentration camps." We have seen others compare them to "internment camps."

Now, we are seeing Members of Congress falsely accusing these agents of horrible crimes. One Congresswoman even accused border agents of forcing migrants to drink out of the toilet. This has now been proven to be a complete and total lie.

Many of your colleagues will do anything to shut these detention facilities down. They want to decriminalize illegal immigration all together so that every illegal alien is released into American society by any means necessary.

Now, they are turning to the United Nations to try to force the Trump administration to shut these facilities down. Last night, Rep. Norma Torres went on CNN and said that her office is committed to helping the United Nations take the Trump administration to international court so they can "file humanitarian crimes against this administration."

Over the past two years, the Trump administration has slashed the United Nations' funding. Any UN organization deemed to be against the United States, our interests, or our allies had their funding cut.

Right now, you are debating restoring that funding to the United Nations. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer want to push this language through in the final version of the State Department and Foreign Operations Appropriations Act.

Here we are, on the 243rd anniversary of our Declaration of Independence and not only are Members of Congress conspiring with the United Nations to chip away at our sovereignty, but now you are about to reward these anti-American UN officials with hundreds of millions of dollars in new funding.
