Oh Boy: Republicans FURIOUS After Trump Vetoes Anti-Border Wall Bill!

Last night, President Trump officially vetoed S.J.Res. 54, the latest Democrat-Republican attempt to cancel the border wall construction project.

But no sooner had Trump sent the bill back, GOP traitors were already meeting with Democrats to figure out a way to force their anti-border wall bill through anyway. And now, they have a way to do it.

Democrats have slipped an anti-border wall amendment into Section 227 of the DHS Appropriations bill. If this passes as-is, then border wall construction would be outlawed.

Thanks to President Trump we have a chance to finally secure the border after all these years. But the Republican turncoats want to rip it all away!

For the second time, Donald Trump just vetoed a resolution designed to revoke his border wall national emergency and cancel all border wall construction projects.

Why are you so eager to fight the border wall? Why are you so adamant about keeping the southern border wide open?

Do you really expect me to believe that you passed S.J.Res. 54 in order to protect American citizens? You and I both know that is a lie.

Already, the Trump administration has built 80 miles of new border wall. In those sectors, illegal border crossings have dropped. Border Patrol is apprehending fewer human and drug traffickers there as well.

Border wall construction has barely even begun and it is already working. By the end of the next September, the administration will have put up at least 505 miles of new border wall.

If you want to keep the American people safe, you need to protect this project's funding.

Already, many of your colleagues are planning out their next steps now that Trump has vetoed the standalone bill. Their new plan is to push their open border agenda through in the annual spending package.

Right now, Section 227 of the DHS Appropriations Act includes a provision which would prohibit any Federal funds from being used on border wall construction or renovation. Border Patrol wouldn't even be allowed to repair existing border barriers if this provision passes.

Your colleagues want to hold the country's national security hostage in a last ditch attempt to kill the border wall project. They care more about delivering Trump a "loss" than they care about protecting the American people.

I am telling you right here and right now that if you sign onto this plan, you will pay.

For far too long, Republicans and Democrats have promised to secure the border, only to come up with excuses when it came time to actually fund the project. Well, there are no more excuses. Every single day, a mile of new border wall gets built.

I am demanding that you protect the funding that Trump has secured. Do not allow your colleagues to claw the funds back and cancel over 500 miles of planned border wall construction...

You were sent to Washington to protect the American people. The border wall does just that.

If you will not honor your oath and help the President secure the border, you will be removed from office and replaced with someone who will.

For your sake, I really do hope you do the right thing...
