The UN warned that if the United States did not pay them the $1 billion that we "owe," then the United Nations would face bankruptcy. Today, for the third weekend in a row, the UN has been forced to close its NY Headquarters building just to stay afloat.

United Nations officials gave Trump a bill for $1 billion and the President told them to get lost. 'Go ask another country to bail you out!'

But Democrats in Congress are now promising to come to the UN's rescue. They are promising to send the United Nations an extra $1.2 billion this month in order to save them from bankruptcy. And the GOP is going to let them do it!

Both parties think they can get away with this. They assume that the American people won't pay attention to the new UN funding levels tucked away in H.R. 2839.

Now that you know what they are doing, you must fight back and stop them!

When President Trump took office, he immediately started taking a hatchet to the United Nations' funding.

Every time that Barack Obama failed to get his agenda through Congress, he turned to the United Nations to try to impose it on the American people.

We saw it with climate change, when Obama unconstitutionally signed the Paris Climate Treaty and promised $3 billion in funding that Congress never appropriated. When Congress refused to pass gun control, Obama signed onto the UN Arms Trade Treaty to help the UN impose gun control regulations worldwide.

The President couldn't get Congress to pass his immigration proposal, so he worked with the UN's Migration Agency to bring thousands of illegal aliens directly into the United States.

Trump took a hatchet to these programs, cutting BILLIONS from the United Nations' budget and promising to cut funding to any program that goes against the United States' interests.

But many of your colleagues are promising to save the United Nations from bankruptcy. Tucked away within the State Department, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act are a number of poison pill UN funding amendments designed to undo all of Trump's cuts. I am demanding that you kill each and every one of these provisions!

You cannot allow H.R. 2839 to restore UN funding to Obama levels.

President Trump made these cuts to put America first. He targeted the UN agencies and departments that violate our sovereignty and cut off their funding. The President told the UN that they would get their funding back if they reformed. But instead, they are running to your Democrat colleagues and begging them to undo all of Trump's cuts!

You CANNOT allow this to happen! I am demanding that you strip all of these UN funding amendments from the State Department Appropriations bill.
