The United Nations is meeting next week in Madrid to come up with a plan to force the United States to pay into their climate change wealth redistribution fund. The UN says they will need $300 Billion a year to run the climate treaty that Barrack Obama illegally and unconstitutionally signed us onto.

But the Democrats have already been meeting with UN officials. And the Left has slipped amendments into an upcoming spending bill that would give the UN all the power it needs to collect the billions they claim we owe them.

Not only are Democrats trying keeps us locked into this unconstitutional wealth redistribution scheme, but their bill also authorize more donations into the treaty and lifts the cap on how much the Federal government is allowed to contribute.

They are setting the stage for the complete and total surrender of our sovereignty to the United Nations. And the GOP is just going to let it pass.

The United Nations is meeting next week in Madrid for their COP 25 conference. The main goal of their meeting is to devise a way to force wealthy countries to pay $300 billion a year into the UN's climate change wealth redistribution fund. They are calling it "climate reparations" and believes that the United States must pay the bulk of it.

When Barack Obama signed the UN Climate Treaty without the advice or consent of Congress -- in violation of the Constitution's Treaty Clause -- he promised them a one-time payment of $3 billion. He was only able to deliver $1 billion of that before Trump took office.

Now, however, the UN wants to collect 100x what Obama had promised them, and they want to collect it every single year.

I shouldn't need to tell you that this would be unacceptable. I shouldn't need to tell you that funneling billions of dollars into a United Nations wealth redistribution scheme would not be in the United States' best interest. All of that should go without saying.

But as the new December deadline to fund the government fast approaches, many of your colleagues want to set the stage to do just that...

H.R. 2839 is loaded to the brim with funding for Leftist pet projects. In addition to restoring most of the funding that Trump cut from the United Nations, the bill would also legalize and legitimize the climate treaty that Obama signed. Yes, it is designed to prevent the President from finishing the withdrawal process from the Paris Climate Treaty. But the legislation also opens the door for US Treasury funds to start flowing into the wealth redistribution fund once again.

Even though Congress never ratified the Treaty and Obama had no right to sign it, Section 7060(b)(1)(C) would allow the "Funds in this Act and prior Acts [to] may be made available for a contribution, grant, or any other payment for the Paris Agreement."

The bill also would lift the caps that currently limit US contributions to the United Nations. The cap on peacekeeping donations would be raised and the cap on donations into the UN General Fund is nowhere to be found in the bill.

All of these provisions, together, are designed to set the stage for the surrender of our sovereignty. While UN bureaucrats meet to figure out ways to force us to contribute to their scheme, you are being asked to vote on a bill that would make it legal to pay into it...

For decades, Congressmen and Senators have agreed to fund policies and projects that they know their constituents would hate. They hide the provisions in spending bills that are hundreds of pages long, assuming that no one will actually read it all.

I need you to understand that the days of being able to slip obscure amendments into spending packages unnoticed is over.

If you vote to pass any of these pro-UN amendments, or help push them through in any way, there will be consequences. You will not get away with it.

You were sent to Washington to work on behalf of the American people, not to funnel my tax dollars to anti-American UN officials. If you cannot understand that, then you really have no business serving in any capacity.

If you want to keep your job, then you must kill each and every one of the UN funding amendments that the Left has slipped into this bill.
