And now, we know how she plans to do it. Democrats are moving full speed ahead and advancing an amendment designed to pull the plug on President Trump's plan to withdraw from the treaty. Not only would their bill make it illegal to withdraw, but Trump would have to continue making the billions in payments to the UN that Obama promised them.

The Left is threatening to shut down the entire government unless Republicans agree to pass their UN surrender provision as-is.

Last week, Nancy Pelosi defied President Trump and traveled to Madrid, Spain to attend the United Nations' Climate Treaty Conference.

There, Nancy Pelosi broke the law and formally represented the United States without State Department approval. And she told the entire world to ignore Trump's decision to withdraw from the treaty. Instead, Pelosi told the entire world to negotiate with Democrats in Congress instead...

This is a clear violation of the Logan Act. Her attempts to undermine the President's foreign policy is seditious. And depending on how you interpret Pelosi's promises to help the UN and the world to raid the US Treasury, her actions could even be construed as treasonous. You must hold her accountable.

But right now, I am demanding that you put a stop to Nancy Pelosi' plot to save the UN Climate Treaty.

Barack Obama broke the law and violated the Constitution by signing a treaty without ever seeking the advice and consent of Congress. He then ordered the Executive Branch to implement the treaty's terms anyway, forcing the United Nations' agenda onto the American people, and raided the Treasury to send the UN more than a billion dollars that Congress never appropriated.

Trump is absolutely right to withdraw from this treaty. But if you pass H.R.2839 as-written, you will be making this unconstitutional treaty permanent.

In order to finish the withdrawal process, Trump has to send a final notice to the UN next November. But Section 7060(b)(1)(D) of the House version of the State Department, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act would bar Trump from sending that final notice to the UN. It would make it illegal to spend even a cent of Federal funds to deliver the withdrawal notice to the UN.

The United States would be stuck in this treaty forever...

You CANNOT allow this provision to survive into the final appropriations package. I don't care what it takes. You must kill these UN surrender amendments.
