Joe Biden has now publicly called on the National Archives to release the sexual harassment complaint that former-staffer Tara Reade filed against him in 1993.

Reade's accusation against Biden has been largely seen as credible because she told multiple people at the time about what he allegedly did to her and they back up her account.

The National Archives, however, responded by pointing out that they are forbidden from releasing the complaint by an Act of Congress. All sexual harassment complaints against Members of Congress are required to remain sealed for 50 years after they are filed.

Joe Biden has agreed to have the complaint released, as has Tara Reade. However, many of your colleagues want to keep these forms hidden.
