There is no doubt that the Paycheck Protection Program saved small businesses from going under and kept countless Americans employed and off the unemployment rolls.

The average PPP loan at a local bank is now $58,000, meaning that the money is making its way to small businesses.

But we know that the program had its share of fraud and abuse. Large companies with more than 500 employees took advantage of loopholes to receive loans they were not eligible for. While many organizations have chosen to give the money back, Planned Parenthood is refusing to surrender the $80 million that its clinics illegally received.

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America, as a nationwide organization, is ineligible for PPP funding because they are not a small business. However, we now know that at least 39 Planned Parenthood "affiliates" applied for funding on their own and all but one received a combined total of $80 million from the PPP.

The Small Business Administration has now concluded that because of Planned Parenthood's top-down organizational structure, none of these clinics were eligible to receive the funding.

As of right now, however, Planned Parenthood is refusing to return the funding. They are claiming that any attempt to investigate these crimes is an 'attack on abortion rights.'

I need you to understand that this is not a victimless crime. The $80,000,000 that Planned Parenthood stole could have been used to keep over 1,300 small businesses afloat. It could have been used to keep tens of thousands of Americans off the unemployment rolls.

I am demanding that you launch a full investigation into this. When you uncover evidence of criminality, you must formally refer these abortion clinics to the Department of Justice for prosecution!
