There is no scheme to "sabotage" the post office. The changes taking place at the USPS have been planned for months, even years, and are not designed to interfere with the 2020 election.

The lies are coming out of Nancy Pelosi's mouth faster than they can be fact checked. No, the USPS' decision to decommission letter sorting machines has NO EFFECT on packages, such as the ones seniors rely on to receive their medicines. In fact, part of the reason that letter sorters are being decommissioned is to better serve customers sending and receiving packages.

The Postal Service is also NOT sabotaging Seniors' ability to receive social security checks. The SSA requires that beneficiaries receive their benefits checks by direct deposit. Only a small minority of seniors (a fraction of a percent of all beneficiaries) continue to receive their checks by mail, and it is because they applied for exemptions, understanding the risk of delays. It is a LIE to claim that millions of seniors are missing out on their social security checks.

And yet, Pelosi and her allies have been allowed to continue lying like this unchecked. And now, they are forcing a vote on a bill to fix a problem that doesn't really exist...

It is now looking like Saturday will be the day that Pelosi brings the Delivering for America Act to the floor. This bill would prohibit the Postal Service from making ANY changes between now and election day, even if those changes would actually help facilitate mail delivery. It would preserve the status quo.

But that bill is merely being used as a vehicle to push through a much more radical agenda. Pelosi is attaching her $25 billion funding demand to the legislation to bail out the Post Office for decades of mismanagement. But as always seems to be the case, a huge chunk of that money would actually just get funneled into pension programs and other unfunded liabilities...

Democrats are also pushing their $3.5 billion mail-in-voting scheme. This amendment would require states send ballots to all registered voters, eliminate voter ID or witness signature requirements for absentee voting, and allow paid political operatives -- ballot harvesters -- to go door to door, "help" voters fill out their ballots, and then use them to stuff the ballot boxes.

All of this is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Dr. Anthony Fauci has said there is no reason people can't vote in-person this year. We have seen around the country that in-person voting has not been attributed to a spike in Covid-19 cases.

The only reason that your colleagues are pushing mail-in voting is because they believe it will help their preferred candidate win in November. It is shameful.

You need to kill this bill. I don't care what it takes, you cannot allow this bill to pass. To revamp our election system less than 80 days before an election is unconscionable, especially considering this is being done to benefit one party over another.

Do not allow the radicals to manufacture a crisis and use it as an excuse to push their cheat-by-mail through.
