Democrats have spent a week pushing a new conspiracy theory that Donald Trump is trying to steal the election by sabotaging the Postal Service to block mail-in ballots from being counted. There is not a shred of truth to this.

The Left is using this conspiracy theory, however, to push through a much more radical proposal. They are rushing a bill to the floor and holding a vote TOMORROW on a bill designed to bailout the Postal Service and advance Nancy Pelosi's cheat-by-mail scheme.

The Left knows that if they get cheat-by-mail passed, they will be able to steal the election. But they are running out of time. That is why they are holding an emergency Saturday vote on this tomorrow.

This is absolutely shameful. For the last week, your colleagues have been advancing a bogus conspiracy theory, claiming that Donald Trump is sabotaging the US Postal Service to stop Democrats from voting by mail. They point to the fact that the USPS is removing letter sorting machines and eliminating public mail boxes.

This is a lie. The plan to remove and decommission old letter sorting machines has been in the works for years. The reason? The USPS is handling more packages and does not need the ability to process as many flat pieces of mail. This is being done to increase package delivery speed. The decision to remove seldom-used public mailboxes is also an attempt to increase the speed of mail collection and delivery. Why should mail carriers have to stop and check mailboxes that never or rarely get used?

Your Democrat colleagues are furious because they were counting on these letter sorting machines and mailboxes being there for a nationwide roll-out of their vote-by-mail plan.

As you know, Nancy Pelosi is refusing to pass any coronavirus relief bill unless Republicans agree to force all 50 states to adopt vote-by-mail in time for the November election. Every state would be required to send mail-in ballots to all registered voters, even if they are dead, moved away, or otherwise ineligible. Pelosi's mail-in-voting plan would also outlaw voter ID or requirements that absentee ballots include a witness or notary signature proving that the voter is who they say they are. Combined, this would guarantee that fraudulent ballots are cast this year.

But most dangerous is the provision in Pelosi's plan that would legalize "ballot harvesting." This is the practice where paid political operatives go door-to-door, tell people how to fill out their ballots, and then turn the ballots in on the voters' behalf. In California, ballot harvesters have been caught dumping hundreds, and even thousands of ballots at polling places just minutes before the polls close. There is a reason that most states only allow a family member or caretaker to deliver absentee ballots on a voter's behalf. That is because once a ballot changes hands, fraud becomes easy. Ballot handlers can destroy ballots if they don't like the way the person voted, or potentially even change votes. Ballot harvesting guarantees voter fraud. Period.These provisions are designed to make it easier to steal the 2020 election. If you pass any of these demands into law, you will guarantee voter fraud. Considering that states were decided in 2016 by thin margins of just a few thousand votes, we cannot afford to open the door for any more fraud.

There is no compromising here. When one side demands we open the door to voter fraud to make it easier to steal the election, there is no such thing as "meeting them halfway" on that.

This is why they are rushing their USPS bailout bill to the floor tomorrow. Pelosi realizes that the clock is running out. She knows that without H.R.8015, her nationwide vote-by-mail scheme will be impossible to implement.

The USPS is not running out of money. There is no evidence to support the conspiracy theory that Trump is sabotaging the Postal Service. This is all a lie.
