Democrats Sneaking Through Bill To Expand Tyrannical Lockdown Orders

Democrats are literally talking about helping government officials force their way into people's homes and the idiot Republicans see this as a "compromise."

Michigan Governor Whitmer is now the latest government official accused of abusing her power to intimidate Americans who resist her draconian and tyrannical lockdown orders.

Jordan Warnsholz filed a lawsuit against the state's lockdown and all of a sudden, government departments started coming after him. A three-year-old hunting warning was upgraded to a criminal warrant. His medical practice was targeted, subject to surprise inspections, and hit with an audit. But the state truly crossed the line when they sent CPS officials into his home to interrogate his children.

This is something that has happened in multiple states since the lockdowns started. Most notably, a salon owner in Oregon had CPS officials force their way into her home after she defied the lockdown and re-opened her business early. In Los Angeles, the mayor has ordered city utility workers to shut off the water and power to homeowners who dare invite guests into their homes. New York City is unapologetically sending health officials into people's homes to enforce quarantine orders.

During this pandemic, we have seen the best in America as first responders stepped up. But we have also, unfortunately, seen the worst of America. Local and state officials, consumed by their new emergency powers, have imposed the most restrictive, draconian, and tyrannical orders that this country has ever seen.

Now, your colleagues want to reimburse them for this tyranny and give them a blank check to violate Americans' rights in the next fiscal year.

The COVID-19 Testing, Reaching, And Contacting Everyone (TRACE) Act (H.R.6666) would provide cities, counties, and states with $100 billion through the end of this fiscal year, and a technically unlimited amount of money in the 2021 fiscal year, to "trace and monitor the contacts of infected individuals, and to support the quarantine of such contacts, through (1) mobile health units; and (2) as necessary, testing individuals and providing individuals with services related to testing and quarantine at their residences."

This piece of legislation literally provides a blank check for cities and states to forcibly send government officials into people's homes. This is flagrantly unconstitutional, and you know it.

And yet, it is being presented as a "common sense compromise" by members of both parties.\

Why are you even considering sending local and state governments funding to help them force their way into innocent people's homes? How is that even on the table?

If this legislation passes, it will be abused. We have already seen Mayors and Governors abuse their power when they thought they were the ones paying the bill. It will only get worse if they gain the ability to use Federal funds. If you pass this legislation, you will be throwing gasoline on the fire and guaranteeing that more Americans' rights will be violated.

There is no such thing as a "compromise" when the issue being debated is whether or not government officials can force their way into innocent people's homes...

You swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That includes protecting Americans' right to privacy within their own homes.

Please pay attention: If you advance this bill, or do anything to help it pass, you will be in violation of your oath of office and will have to be removed...
