Mitch McConnell and Nancy Pelosi are conspiring to change the House and Senate Rules to make it harder for members to file objections to the Electoral College results and easier to squash any objections that come up.

They know that they could never change the 12th Amendment or amend the Electoral Count Act in time for the January 3rd vote. So, they are going to amend the rules package that governs the certification process to make it easier to rubber stamp Joe Biden's fraudulent win.

The 12th Amendment gives the Vice President the power to "open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted." The Electoral Count Act allows for formal objections to that count as long as at least one Congressman and one Senator co-sponsor the objection. 3 USC 15, however, simply says that when an objection is formally filed, it must be given to the House and the Senate "for its decision."

The House and Senate rules dictate how the objection process works. Right now, the rules state that each objection requires 2 hours of debate. Your colleagues are conspiring to reduce the debate time down to just minutes... The rules also require that the vote be held on-the-record. A rules change, however, would allow the cowards in your midst to vote down objections without their constituents knowing how they voted...

There is also talk about changing the rules for how objections are filed. A rules change could limit Congressmen and Senators to co-sponsoring only one objection, which at this point means that only two objections would be filed (since only two Senators have agreed to co-sponsor them). A rules change could also allow for objections to be dismissed.

They are discussing rule changes dictating how Mike Pence is allowed to process vote counting. The Constitution and law are both deliberately vague, requiring that the Vice President count any votes "purporting to be certificates of the electoral votes." Your colleagues want to change the rules to only allow Electoral College votes certified by a governor and received before the Safe Harbor Deadline (which would be grossly unconstitutional).

Then, there is even talk of using COVID-19 as an excuse to limit objections. For example, a rule change could only allow so many Congressmen and Senators to be on the floor at one time, deliberately keeping the men and women expected to file the objection out of the chamber. There is also talk of limiting the amount of total objections that can be filed, again using the pandemic as an excuse.

This is shameful. To even consider changing the rules like this is disgusting. But considering that is precisely how fraud was committed in states like Pennsylvania and Georgia (changing the rules while the election was already going on), it is not all that surprising that the same people who stole the election now want to change the rules to certify it.

It is unconscionable that minutes after swearing in the 117th Congress, your colleagues want to make it harder to challenge the very fraud that put many of them into office...

I need you to understand something: If you think you can vote for any of these rules changes and get away with it, you are sorely mistaken. Any Congressman or Senator, Republican or Democrat, who votes to certify this fraud or to make it more difficult to block the certification of this fraud, will be removed from office.
