On Wednesday, President Trump delivered a speech laying out evidence of election fraud and encouraging his supporters to march to the Capitol to peacefully protest. Here are his exact words:

Somehow, Trump's call for peaceful protest has been twisted and warped, with your colleagues in both parties declaring that President Trump directly ordered the storming of the US Capitol. Anyone who listened to the speech or read the transcript knows that was not the case.
