Breaking: Pelosi Submitting Articles of Impeachment For Senate Trial!

The Senate is back in DC today, beginning the process of vetting and confirming Joe Biden's cabinet. Nancy Pelosi is wasting no time, spending the day crossing the t's and dotting the i's on her impeachment article against President Trump. She will submit the article of impeachment to the Senate either today or tomorrow, forcing the Senate to begin a trial.

The charges are bogus. Not only is it questionable whether the House impeachment managers have the constitutional authority to prosecute Trump as a private citizen, but new information revealed since the impeachment vote shows that not only were elements of ANTIFA involved in the storming of the capitol, but it was pre-planned as well. Donald Trump could not have incited a riot that was pre-planned...

We have a small window to get these bogus impeachment charges thrown out. But if we miss this opening, then the Democrats will force a full, lengthy trial.

Today is the final day of President Trump's term. This should be a day spent celebrating his accomplishments over the past four years and saying goodbye to the First Family.

Some of your colleagues, however, are desperate to cause the President as much pain as possible. Nancy Pelosi is preparing to submit a new Article of Impeachment to force the Senate to begin another trial.

As you know, the impeachment process in the House was rushed. There were no committee hearings, no testimony from witnesses or experts, and no cross-examination before the House decided to hold a floor vote accusing the President of inciting a riot.

Since that vote, new information has come to light showing that Antifa agitators were on the ground, dressed as Trump supporters, stirring things up. We also know that leftists and right wing activists pre-planned their actions weeks in advance. The Department of Justice has brought charges against people accusing them of pre-planning the day's events. This destroys the argument that Trump incited a riot. A riot cannot be spontaneously incited if it was also pre-planned...

There is also new constitutional analysis that questions whether the House of Representatives has the Constitutional authority to present Presidential Impeachment Articles against a private citizen. The Constitution dictates that Congress is the only body that can indict and try a President, through the impeachment process. Once a President leaves office, however, and becomes a private citizen, Congress no longer has the authority to prosecute him. Congress can refer the President to the US Attorney, but House Impeachment Managers lack the jurisdiction required to prosecute a private citizen.

Then there is the issue of WHY your colleagues are pushing impeachment against an outgoing President. They want President Trump barred from ever running for office again. They also want him cut off from his pension, travel allowance, and Secret Service protection. There is only one reason to cut off the President's Secret Service detail, and it is disgusting. Your colleagues also want to prohibit Trump from getting a Presidential Library or having any Federal property dedicated to him. They want to strip him from the history books.

Is this what 'bringing the country together' looks like? Because from my vantage point, the only thing this is accomplishing is driving the country further apart...

There is still time to dismiss the impeachment articles and spare the country from the political theater of another impeachment trial. But you need to take action right now!

I am demanding that you dismiss this impeachment article and get back to doing the work of the country. But if you cannot or will not put politics aside... if you insist on "punishing" an outgoing President for purely political reasons... then I promise that when the dust settles, the person who gets removed from office will be YOU!
