Confirmed: Dems Sneaking Abortion Funding Into Covid Bill!

This week, Democrats rammed an evil bill through committee. The House Democrats passed amendment after amendment requiring that abortion funding be included in the upcoming $1,9 TRILLION Covid-19 relief bill.

The Democrats' plan would restore $50 million to Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics that were cut off under the Trump administration. It would send $750 million abroad to fund "global health," which includes abortions. The measure includes NO Hyde Amendment, meaning that the funds could go directly to fund abortion procedures. And the Democrats want to require that all Obamacare and COBRA insurance plans provide coverage for abortions.

Democrats are using COVID-19 as an excuse to usher in a culture of death and they want YOUR tax dollars to pay for it!

For a half century, Democrats and Republicans have agreed that the Federal government should not be in the abortion business. The Hyde Amendment has prohibited taxpayer dollars from reimbursing abortion clinics for abortion procedures.

Your colleagues are now using COVID-19 as an excuse to rescind this policy and force American taxpayers to foot the bill for elective abortion procedures. It is disgusting and you must stop this from passing!

House Democrats held a hearing this week and unveiled their radical abortion amendments for the upcoming COVID-19 relief reconciliation bill.

The bill would funnel $50 million directly to abortion clinics. There is no Hyde Amendment language within the bill, so abortion clinics would be allowed to directly use the funding on abortion procedures.

$750 million would go towards "global health," which includes funding for abortion procedures abroad. Nothing says COVID-19 relief like helping foreign countries pay for abortion procedures...

On top of that, they want to make it legal for abortion providers to retroactively access coronavirus stimulus programs, such as PPP loans. The last thing this country needs is a bailout for the abortion industry...

The bill would also mandate that Obamacare and COBRA insurance plans also provide coverage for abortions.

What does this have to do with COVID-19 relief? How does forcing American taxpayers to directly fund abortion procedures help get Americans back to work? How does funneling $750 million abroad to fund "global health" programs help get our schools open or revitalize our economy?

This is the reason that the Byrd Rule exists. These abortion provisions have NOTHING to do with COVID-19 relief and should be forced out of the bill. I am demanding that you use every tool at your disposal to get these disgusting provisions removed from the bill, including pressuring the parliamentarian.

Poll after poll shows that Americans do not want the Federal government to pay for or subsidize abortion procedures. Your colleagues, however, want to use Americans' suffering and the struggling economy as leverage to push through their radical abortion wish list.

It is disgusting.

I am demanding that you strip these abortion provisions from the spending bill. You CANNOT let these pass.

Any Congressman or Senator who uses this pandemic as an excuse to rescind the Hyde Amendment and funnel funding to abortion clinics will be removed from office.
