This Week: Dems Voting on Bill to BLOCK Legal Gun Purchases

Democrats are forcing a vote THIS WEEK on two gun control bills: H.R. 8, the Bipartisan Background Checks Act, and H.R. 1446, the Enhanced Background Checks Act.

These two bills would force ALL gun transfers and purchases to have an accompanying background check and then it would allow the Federal government to indefinitely BLOCK all of these gun purchases, simply by refusing to conduct the background checks.

This package would give the government the power to suspend the 2nd Amendment. And the idiot Republicans are talking about this bill as if it's a compromise...

You cannot, under any circumstances, allow H.R. 1446 or H.R. 8 to reach the President's desk.

Don't let the name fool you. The Enhanced Background Checks Act of 2021 is a radical attempt to reshape our firearm laws to give the government the power to deny law-abiding Americans the right to keep and bear arms.

The legislation would allow the FBI to take 10 business days to process an "instant" background check. If gun purchasers want to appeal a rejection, then the FBI would get another 10 business days to process the appeal.

That is an entire month. Right now, the ATF's 4473 background check form is only valid for a month. If someone doesn't pick up their firearm within a month of filling the form out, then they have to go through the process all over again...

H.R.1446 would give the Federal government the power to run out the clock and deny millions of law-abiding Americans the right to purchase a firearm. There is nothing common sense about this.

This is nothing but another thinly veiled attempt to chip away at the right to keep and bear arms in this country.

When combined with H.R. 8, the universal background check bill, the government would get the power to block ALL gun purchases and transfers, without even needing to provide a reason...

Enough is enough. You cannot allow this legislation, or any other bills like it, to reach the President's desk. I don't care what it takes, you must KILL the bills!

The Founding Fathers ratified the words 'shall not be infringed' for a reason. The 2nd Amendment exists to prohibit bills like H.R.1446 and H.R. 8 from being pushed through. You swore an oath to uphold it.

If you support this legislation or any of the other anti-gun bills in the current gun control package, then you are violating that oath and must be removed from office!
