The White House has confirmed that Joe Biden will be signing gun control executive orders.

Already, we are hearing that the executive orders will target private gun sales/transfers, homemade firearms, and firearm imports.

None of this has ANYTHING to do with the Boulder, Colorado shooting. This is just designed to disarm law-abiding Americans and chip away at the 2nd Amendment!

Joe Biden is preparing a number of gun control executive orders. What he is doing is illegal, unconstitutional, and he must be stopped!

When you arrived in Congress, you were forced to raise your right hand and swear to defend the Constitution. Not part of the Constitution... ALL of the Constitution. That includes the 2nd Amendment!

You also swore an oath to defend us against all of the Constitution's enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Look around. Those "colleagues" of yours who are demanding more and more gun control? They are precisely the type of "domestic enemies" you swore to oppose...

Biden is preparing over a dozen gun control executive orders, all violating the Constitution. Three of his proposals, however, are particularly egregious.

The first would ban homemade firearms. The goal would be to classify all firearm manufacturing as commercial activity, meaning that if an American built their own gun without first receiving a Type 7 Federal Firearms License, they would be committing a felony. Americans have been building their own firearms since before the American Revolution. Biden has no right to outlaw homemade firearms and you MUST block this executive order from being signed!

The second proposal would use ITAR to restrict firearm imports. Since 1989, the Federal government has banned the import of semi-automatic firearms that do not have a "sporting purpose." Over the years, importers have found ways to comply with these bans. The Biden administration, however, wants to strengthen these regulations to ban all semi-automatic firearm imports. Since ITAR also applies to domestic manufacturing, the Biden White House is considering new regulations on American gun manufacturers to make it harder for them to stay in business. Again, this is something that the President has no constitutional or legal right to do. If the President tries to implement a gun ban by executive order, using this or any other regulatory approach, I am demanding that you defend the Constitution and block it from going into effect.

Lastly, the White House is considering a Kamala Harris proposal to redefine what it means to be "in the business of selling firearms." Currently, only licensed gun dealers must conduct background checks. The Harris plan would redefine "gun store" to include anyone who sells firearms. Instead of changing the background check law, this executive order would make it illegal to privately sell guns without first becoming a gun store (a lengthy and very expensive process). The Federal government has no authority to regulate or ban private firearm sales or transfers. You CANNOT allow this tyrannical order to go into effect.

You need to block these from going into effect. That is the oath you swore. The Founders enshrined the 2nd Amendment into the Constitution specifically to protect the American people against tyrannical executive orders like these.

If you will not honor your oath right now and block these executive orders, then you are unfit to serve in any capacity and must be removed.
