The difference, though, is that in 2000, illegal aliens weren't just released into the country. Biden is releasing illegal aliens as fast as Border Patrol can arrest them. They are being given bus tickets, allowed to go anywhere in the country, and the Federal government expects them to "turn themselves in" once they reach their destination so they can be deported. It would be laughable if we weren't talking about hundreds of thousands of illegals just being released into American towns and cities.

Border Patrol is now reporting that they apprehended 210,000 illegal aliens in the month of July. This is more border apprehensions than any other month since the year 2000.

The crisis has gotten to be so bad that illegal aliens are being released almost as quickly as they are being apprehended. They are being given bus tickets to the city of their choosing and instructed to "turn themselves in" once they arrive to begin deportation proceedings.

Yes, Border Patrol is releasing illegal aliens into the interior and telling them to turn themselves in later so they can be deported. Surprising no one, they aren't surrendering. They are simply disappearing into the interior...

This is madness. The Covid-19 data from border towns and cities alone shows how dangerous this catch-and-release policy is. Crime is rising. Human smuggling is up. Drug trafficking is up. All across the country, communities are scrambling to figure out how to deal with the thousands and even tens of thousands of illegal aliens who have simply decided to call their city or town home. Hospitals are being overtaxed, shelters and welfare programs are exhausting their resources, and schools are stuck trying to figure out how to add hundreds of kids into classes that are already at capacity.

This crisis is completely fixable. We know how to fix the border crisis: Enforce the law! Reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy, restart border wall construction, end catch-and-release, close the asylum loopholes that migrants abuse, and hire more immigration judges to work through the backlog of cases. Unfortunately, the Biden administration would rather open the borders than keep Americans safe with these common sense fixes.

The border has devolved into a full-blown crisis. The status quo is literally unsustainable. We will not have a country anymore if we continue to let 200k unvetted illegal aliens into the US every month...

You know how to fix it. Yes, impeachment should be on the table. If not for Joe Biden for causing this crisis, then at least for DHS Alejandro Secretary who has flagrantly violated his oath to faithfully execute the immigration laws of the United States.

Inaction is simply unacceptable.
