Joe Biden is banning Russian-made ammunition from being imported into the country. He says this is to avenge a Russian dissident who was reportedly poisoned by the Russian government. But this is nothing but a thinly-veiled attempt to disarm the American people.

Already, ammunition prices are skyrocketing. Millions of Americans are now being priced out of the shooting sports. There are entire calibers of ammunition that are not manufactured anywhere but Russia. Without these imports, Americans' firearms will be made obsolete...

Obama did everything he could to ban as much ammunition as possible. Now, Joe Biden is picking up the mantle.

The right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental liberty protected by the United States Constitution. Americans have a right to possess and use firearms to defend themselves, their families, and, if necessary, their country.

That right means nothing without the ability to buy ammunition. Without ammunition, firearms become little more than paper weights. That is why courts have routinely ruled that ammunition bans violate the 2nd Amendment.

Joe Biden, however, doesn't seem to care about the Bill of Rights. His State Department just announced that the administration will ban all Russian ammunition from entering the country starting in September.

They are using the poisoning of Alexai Navalny as the pretext to do this. Because the Russian government allegedly poisoned one of their own citizens, Joe Biden is blocking Americans from accessing the most affordable ammunition on the market.

Ammunition prices were already through the roof before this new order was announced. This has only made problems worse.

Both Russian- and American-made ammunition prices skyrocketed. This order will literally price Americans out of the shooting sports and make it impossible for many to afford the ammunition necessary for training.

There are also entire calibers that are not manufactured outside of Russia. For example, with the exception of a few small hunting round production runs, there is only Russian-made 5.45x39 ammunition available on the market. When this import ban goes through, anyone who owns a firearm in this caliber will no longer be able to buy new ammunition to shoot it.

What good is the right to keep and bear arms if the President can unilaterally block entire calibers of ammunition from being sold on the civilian market?

That is why this executive order is unconstitutional. The US government has every right to sanction the Russian government. It does NOT have the right to deliberately violate Americans' 2nd Amendment rights in the process!

Barack Obama spent 8 years trying to ban as much ammunition as possible. Now, Joe Biden has picked up the mantle and is running with it.

You must put a stop to this NOW! If this is allowed to go through, it will not end there. Biden and his gun control allies will not rest until all ammunition is either banned or regulated out of existence.

You swore an oath to defend my 2nd Amendment rights. Now is the time to honor that oath!

If you will not honor your oath, I will have no choice but to remove you and replace you with someone who will!
