Irony: Nancy Pelosi's Bill Would REMOVE Joe Biden!

When Donald Trump contracted Covid-19, Nancy Pelosi introduced legislation that would allow Congress to swiftly remove him from office. The Commission on Presidential Capacity to Discharge the Powers of the Office Act would have allowed Congress, not the Cabinet, to determine when a President is physically or mentally compromised and unable to discharge his duties.

The bill never went anywhere since Donald Trump swiftly recovered. But now that Joe Biden is showing real signs of chronic mental decline, Members of Congress are now pushing for a vote on Pelosi's anti-Trump bill... to use it against Biden!

How ironic would it be for the bill designed to remove Trump to actually be used to remove Joe Biden?

When Donald Trump contracted Covid-19 last year, Nancy Pelosi rushed to the nearest microphone and introduced the Commission on Presidential Capacity to Discharge the Powers of the Office Act.

The bill would have created a Congressional Commission, pursuant to Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, to remove medically compromised Presidents from office. It was a disgusting politicization of a Presidential emergency. Luckily, the 25th Amendment was never necessary because Donald Trump swiftly recovered.

Joe Biden, however, is suffering from chronic mental decline. The symptoms have become unavoidable and undeniable. Given Biden's actions and inactions over the past two weeks, it is clear that Biden's mental decline has accelerated to the point where he is now incapable of reliably discharging the duties of his office.

In recent days, we have seen Joe Biden slur his speech on global television, zone out during a dignified transfer and repeatedly check his watch, seemingly fall asleep during a meeting with Israel's Prime Minister, and even forget the names of individuals who were standing right next to him.

We have read reports that he went to bed early during the fall of Afghanistan because the conflicting intelligence reports "confused him," and we have watched him return to the White House and forget how to get inside, instead choosing to wander off onto the grass. Just this week, Biden shared a memory of visiting the Tree of Life Synagogue after a mass shooting there, which would have been touching had it ever happened. Joe Biden just completely made up a memory.

The man routinely loses his train of thought, slurs his words, and gets angry when challenged or when he wanders off script.

Anyone who has had a loved one suffer from Alzheimer's, dementia, or some other mental decline knows the symptoms well. Joe Biden fits the diagnosis to a tee.

This is not an insult, by the way. We all hope that we live long enough to experience some mental decline. But none of us expect to be handed the Nuclear Football when it happens...

This is not political. This is about saving the Republic.

It is time to dust off Nancy Pelosi's legislation and put it to work before this gets any worse.
