Of the People. By the People. For the People.
In the United States of America, the government is designed to do the will of The People. There are things that the government cannot do as the US Constitution restricts the Federal government from infringing upon our inalienable rights and conscripts them to, as their most sacred duty, protect those rights.
We’ve certainly seen them try, at the federal level, evidenced by the “Safer America Plan” that made vulnerable communities less safe in the name of equity. We’ve seen them try (and fail) at the state level, evidenced by the Supreme Court’s ruling in June 2022 in NY State Pistol and Rifle Association et al v. Bruen. In that one, SCOTUS ruled that the state cannot infringe upon individuals’ right to carry firearms for protection.
When the authoritarians can’t bring about their agenda through government, they turn to the private sector for help. That’s what we are seeing with the emergence of a new “merchant category code,” or MCC, for gun purchases.
From CNN on Monday, “US credit card giants said they will implement a new merchant category code for the nation's gun retailers, which gun control activists say will help flag potential mass shooters and gun traffickers.”
How will a new MCC “flag potential mass shooters and gun traffickers?” This code will be used to track the gun and ammo purchases of American citizens. The US government can’t keep you from your Second Amendment rights, so they turn to the private sector.
The CNN piece continues, “The International Organization for Standardization, based in Geneva, approved the code on Friday.”
Excuse me? ISO is involved in US firearm purchases? Who is governing this nation?
“The system will separately categorize sales at gun and ammunition stores, which advocates say can help track suspicious transactions of firearms and ammunition. Visa, the world's largest payment network, will ‘proceed with next steps’ the company said in a statement Sunday, ‘while ensuring we protect all legal commerce on the Visa network in accordance with our long-standing rules.’” Even American Express is getting on board.
According to Brittanica:
“Although fascism is a notoriously difficult ideology to define, many 20th-century fascist movements shared several characteristics. First, these movements sourced their political strength from populations experiencing economic woes, real or imagined. Fascists tended to capitalize on these economic anxieties by shifting the blame away from government or market forces…Redirecting popular anger toward these people would, in theory, rid a country of its ailments.
Although many fascist movements initially organized themselves around democratic institutions for political legitimacy, they resorted to totalitarianism in practice. A component of this process became the reorganization of society around a strict moral code that often sought to reverse the ‘decadence’ of pre-fascist culture.’”
You cannot have an authoritarian or totalitarian regime for long in an armed society. They have to disarm the American people to bring about the Great Reset, and they know it. The Constitution won’t allow the government to do it, so the first step is to create a registry so they know who is making the purchases. The MCC is how they get that registry.
As we journey through this unprecedented time in American history, everyone is turning to, even clinging to, their gods. For Christians, we turn to the Master of the Universe, God Almighty, and call on the power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus, son of God and Savior of the world.
Those who don’t know Him are clinging to other gods. For some it’s money. For some it’s power. But it’s all worship of the creation rather than the Creator. This even encapsulates the original sin of Lucifer. He desired to be worshiped and, as evidenced by the new Disney series “Little Demon,” Lucifer is now being openly worshiped by many in society.
For too many others, the god is “science.” It's really scientism which is a more sophisticated version of pagan Earth worship. This is how they convince themselves that buying carbon credits – paying an international entity money so they can keep polluting – is going to impact climate change.
It’s delusion, wrapped in scientism, and presented as virtue.
That is the “strict moral code” – to which the fascists will force us to adhere – once they disarm us.
Today, we are telling Congress to create distance between the public and private sectors, and return to their duty of protecting our rights.
Use your voice, stand in the gap, and say, “No.”

Here is today’s letter to Congress:
For all the pontificating about fascism during the Trump administration, you’re certainly welcoming it under Biden.
Let’s define our terms. According to Brittanica:

The decadence that needs to be reversed is, of course, carbon emissions. The strict moral code is Earth worship in the name of science. Your god is “science,” which has turned into a more sophisticated version of pagan Earth worship. This is how you’ve convinced yourselves that buying carbon credits – paying an international entity money so you and your donors can keep polluting – is going to impact climate change.
It’s delusion, wrapped in scientism, and presented as virtue.
