Speaker Vote Day 4 - No VOTE, No WORK, NO PAY!
Our House of Representatives is in disarray, caught in a seemingly endless Speaker of the House vote that has led to inaction and inefficiency. It's time to demand accountability and send a clear message to Congress: "No Work = NO PAY!"
Send this FaxBlast with your representatives. Let them know that they must address pressing issues, whether or not a Speaker is in place. The committees can still function, and critical matters must be resolved!
Our representatives must feel the pressure to act in our best interests. We hold the power as their constituents. Inaction is unacceptable, and it's time for change. Send this FaxBlast to Congress and make it clear that "NO Work equals NO PAY!" Congress must get its act together and address the challenges our country is facing. We demand nothing less.
Together, we can make a difference.

[Sen./Rep.] [FIRST NAME] [LAST NAME]
Washington, DC
Dear [Sen./Rep.] [LAST NAME]:
I write to you today with a deep sense of frustration and discontent over the ongoing situation in the House of Representatives. The repeated attempts to elect a Speaker of the House have resulted in an endless cycle of inaction, leaving the American people to wonder why we continue to support a Congress that seems unable to fulfill its responsibilities. It has now been a full week since the House began its daily voting for the Speaker of the House, with Jim Jordan and Hakeem Jeffries emerging as top contenders. However, despite this ongoing process, there appears to be a disturbing lack of progress in addressing the critical issues facing our nation. No Speaker has been elected, and, as a result, the work of Congress has ground to a halt. The current state of affairs is nothing short of a circus. The repeated delays, the endless voting, and the lack of tangible outcomes serve as a source of great frustration for the American people. It raises a fundamental question: Why are members of Congress being paid for essentially doing nothing? This flies in the face of the principle that "No Work = NO PAY." Today marks the fourth round of voting in the House of Representatives, with no clear resolution in sight. This raises concerns about the endless cycle that could persist if a Speaker is not elected soon. It is inexcusable that the people's business is being held hostage to procedural issues. While the absence of a Speaker has, to some extent, hindered the House's ability to conduct legislative work, there is no excuse for the overall inaction. Committees such as the HomeLand Security committee, the J6 committee, and The United States House Oversight Committee continue to function and can address pressing issues. Yet, instead of diligently tackling these important matters, many representatives appear to be more focused on cutting deals and dragging their feet on the Speaker's election. It is important to emphasize that the ongoing impasse in the House does not absolve our elected officials of their duty to address the pressing challenges our country faces. The border invasion, the situation of the J6 patriots in jail, and allegations of corruption within the Biden family demand our immediate attention. Congress cannot use the Speaker election as a pretext to shirk its responsibilities. It is clear that a significant number of congressional members are motivated by their salaries, which are funded by the hard-earned dollars of American taxpayers. Perhaps it is time to remind them of their obligations and the consequences of failing to perform their duties. As the employers, we, the American people, hold the power and have the right to demand accountability. Inaction in Congress is not acceptable. The principle is simple: no work should result in no pay. It is time for Congress to get its act together and work diligently on the issues our country is facing, regardless of the ongoing Speaker election. The current state of affairs leaves us with a Congress that is failing to act, and it is imperative that this situation be rectified. I urge you to take immediate steps to address this issue and ensure that the House of Representatives fulfills its duties to the American people. We deserve a Congress that works in our best interests, regardless of any procedural hurdles. The time for change and accountability is now.
Sincerely,
[SIGNATURE]
