I am writing to you today out of sheer frustration and disappointment in the ongoing farce that is the prioritization of foreign interests over the well-being of the American people. It is outrageous and infuriating to witness the Biden administration's attempt to force through an additional $106 billion in emergency aid for Ukraine and Israel, while our own domestic issues are pushed to the backburner.

Fortunately some members of the GOP held steadfast in blocking this exorbitant aid package, which is a testament to the common sense that seems to be sorely lacking in the rest of Congress. However, the blatant attempt to leverage our nation's security, as seen in the proposed deal linking aid to the passage of the border security act (H.R.2), is a slap in the face to every American citizen.

As Congress continues its absurd bickering over this aid, it is beyond infuriating to learn that Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to throw a tantrum on American soil, demanding even more handouts. Why should we prioritize his impatience over the needs of our own people?

The reported discussion between President Biden and Zelensky about "Ukraine's urgent needs" in fighting off a Russian invasion is a sickening display of misplaced priorities. How much more must the American people endure while billions of dollars are squandered overseas, funding wars and foreign interests?

I demand that Congress immediately ceases any consideration of passing aid to Ukraine or any other foreign nation. It is high time to refocus on HOME, on the American People, and on funding OUR NATION! The continued negligence of our own needs, while billions are sent abroad, is nothing short of a betrayal of the citizens who entrusted you with their votes.

The urgency of addressing our open border situation cannot be overstated. The fact that we have been calling for the closure of our southern border time and time again, only for these calls to fall on deaf ears, is a testament to the utter disregard for the concerns of the American people. CLOSE THE BORDER – it is as simple and direct as that!

Our border security should NEVER be used as a bargaining chip. It is reprehensible that elected officials would even consider such a disgraceful tactic. The American people and the crisis facing our nation are NOT bargaining tools – they are URGENT priorities that demand immediate attention.

Additionally, the practice of sending billions of dollars overseas must come to an abrupt end. Why should our hard-earned taxpayer dollars fund wars and foreign interests while our nation drowns in debt? The PEOPLE, your constituents, demand that their needs and concerns take precedence over unnecessary foreign expenditures.

I implore you to remember the oath you took to serve the American people. Stand on the right side of history by prioritizing the needs of your constituents over foreign interests. The time for action is NOW.
