Congress Wants To Take Away Your Right To Bear Arms While Protesting: Stop The PPPA Act
Americans,
Senators Markey and Raskin push the Preventing Private Paramilitary Activity Act, another Democrat-backed threat to our rights. Disguised as community protection, it endangers our First and Second Amendment freedoms.
Born from January 6 concerns, this Act risks our right to assemble and bear arms. Send this message to your representatives, spread the word, and defend our constitutional rights.

[Sen./Rep.] [FIRST NAME] [LAST NAME]
Washington, DC
Dear [Sen./Rep.] [LAST NAME]:
I write to you today seething with frustration and fury over the audacious attempt by Senators Ed Markey and Representative Jamie Raskin to shove the Preventing Private Paramilitary Activity Act (PPPA Act) down the throats of the American people. This abomination of legislation is nothing more than a thinly veiled assault on our constitutional rights, and I am utterly appalled by its existence. The PPPA Act, disguised as a measure to safeguard our communities, is nothing short of a malicious ploy to undermine our fundamental rights. The Act's language is so broad and ambiguous that it could be twisted to suppress our rights under the First and Second Amendments. It's an outright infringement on our liberty, and I will not stand idly by while you entertain such an affront to our democratic values. This legislation's definition of a "private paramilitary organization" is laughably expansive, encompassing any gathering of three or more individuals with the audacity to organize publicly or train for roles in combat, combat support, law enforcement, or security services. The audacity! The potential for misuse of such language is not lost on me, and it reeks of a government overreach that should make any patriot's blood boil. Let's not kid ourselves β this Act was concocted in the wake of the January 6th protests, and its real intentions are crystal clear. It's a knee-jerk reaction meant to strip law-abiding citizens of their right to assemble and bear arms, all under the guise of protecting the public. Well, I, for one, am not buying it! Now, with protests erupting at the southern border, the PPPA Act becomes an even more ominous threat. Americans exercising their right to voice their concerns and bear arms may soon find themselves labeled as engaging in so-called "paramilitary activity." This is an outrage! Our democracy is built on the foundation of citizens expressing their grievances, and this Act seeks to trample on those rights. I implore you, as my elected representative, to vehemently oppose the Preventing Private Paramilitary Activity Act. Do not allow this blatant assault on our constitutional rights to gain any traction. Stand up for the people you are supposed to represent and defend the very essence of our democracy. Failure to do so will not be forgotten, and rest assured, I will do everything in my power to ensure that those who support this egregious act are held accountable. Our right to assemble, our right to bear arms, and our right to resist a government that fails us are non-negotiable. Do NOT let the PPPA Act tarnish the principles upon which this great nation was built!
Sincerely,
[SIGNATURE]
